“Invasion”

"Invasion" kicks off with a tense diplomatic visit from Ambassador Gezzo, as the U.S. Navy tests two cutting-edge radio-magnetic range finders—one of which mysteriously fails during a critical evaluation. When a suspicious figure is spotted in a restricted zone, Lt. Ford is drawn into a web of deception, uncovering that the real threat may lie not with the foreign envoy, but with the inventor behind the failing technology. Frank Frollo’s art brings the era’s sleek, suspenseful style to life in this early mystery tale from 1939.
