Jenny Swensen pilots the M.A.X. Armor, Mark I to help contain the radiation at Chernobyl. She encounters Dimitri Durovich, a scientist who had absorbed massive amounts of radiation in the process of trying to save everyone and is at risk to meltdown himself. Jenny tunnels into a nearby river and immerses him in the waters to prevent the meltdown. With Dimitri's urging, she collapses the underground cavern on top of him.
