Amazing Adventures #35
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis 1976 Marvel issue drops Killraven into a fierce clash against the green, razor-clawed Man-Mutant amid a ruined cityscape, with an alien war machine looming in the background — all rendered in Craig Russell's vivid, kinetic linework on both pencils and inks. The cover teases "The Threat of the 24-Hour Man" and promises Killraven versus Man-Mutant competing for "the most fantastic prize of all," giving the whole thing an urgently high-stakes feel. Don McGregor's post-apocalyptic War of the Worlds saga was doing some of Marvel's most imaginative storytelling in the mid-seventies, and this issue looks like a fine example of that creative energy.
