“The Unsuspecting”

In "The Unsuspecting," Stan Lee and Steve Ditko deliver a delightfully absurd twist on myth, as Zeus—fresh from his divine throne—descends to Earth only to be treated like a novelty act. The god of thunder finds himself bewildered by mortal fascination, his thunderbolts reduced to punchlines, until he retreats back to Olympus, unimpressed and thoroughly out of place. A rare early collaboration from Lee and Ditko, with Ditko’s distinctive cover art capturing the mythic absurdity.
