Amanda and Gunn #3

Issue three of Image's Amanda and Gunn puts its title character front and center in a striking wintry scene — a tan dog with robotic legs crouches in the snow, a futuristic multi-barreled weapon glowing at the ready beneath a cool blue moon. It's an unexpectedly compelling image, blending sci-fi hardware with something genuinely canine and alive. If you haven't been following this 1997 series, this cover alone makes a strong case for catching up.
