Alpha Flight learns that Lionel has accidentally resurrected Deadly Ernest. They meet up with Nemesis and face off against the man whose touch is death but Heather is captured. Nemesis gives Puck her sword and he rescues Heather and kills Ernest. With her reason for existing gone, Nemesis dissolves to ashes.
