Allegra is the lead guard of the floating colony of Midian and wears a special suit that gives her awesome powers. Keres is her second in command and covets her post. Dr. Huber is her handler and oversees her resurrections every time she is killed in action. The world below has been ravished by a gen virus but Allegra feels drawn to go there, even though she is killed every time she visits. She is then rejuvenated in a cocoon and has her memories rebooted so she can continue with her mission. When she finds there may be a traitor in their midst, Allegra is shot down and falls to the surface.
