When Walt is wounded and captured, Wayne makes a daring escape, shedding his civilian guise to fight back with nothing but grit and one arm. Written by William Woolfolk and brought to life by Gil Kane’s dynamic art and Bernard Sachs’ sharp inks, this tense Western thriller reveals a hidden strength beneath the surface, while Gil Kane and Joe Giella deliver a striking cover that captures the stakes in a single, charged moment.

Storekeeper Wayne goes missing, and "born fumbler" Walt, the nominal sheriff, must find him. He tracks a kidnapper but is wounded in the arm and captured. Wanye cuts loose on his spurs, changes clothes, and goes guns down and fights the bandits - using only one arm! Walt wants to tell the truth about his storekeeper-hero brother, but Wayne won't let him shake the town's confidence. Yet Walt tells a girl, "There's more to Wayne than you think!"
