The Joker seduces and strangles attorney Donna Gugina. Dick and Batman discuss the Joker, then Batman tells Dick to get a costume if he wants to help. Batman takes Jocko-boy back to Gotham and dumps him. Dick finds a bow and arrows, reminding him of Robin Hood, which generates the idea for a costume. Meanwhile, Batman finds Green Lantern on a rooftop and makes plans to talk later. Joker visits Catwoman, asking her to join him in some mischief. Batman returns to the Batcave, where he finds Dick dressed as "Hood." Batman shows him why a hood is not a good idea and renames him Robin.
