“Episode Three”

"Episode Three" of *All Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder* delivers a kinetic, high-stakes chapter as Batman and Dick Grayson navigate a Batmobile that transforms into a submarine—while Clark Kent, reading the news on a milk carton, storms into action after learning Dick is missing. The story shifts to a gritty, neon-lit bar where Black Canary, a bartender with a short fuse, finally snaps after a patron crosses the line, unleashing a shocking display of power that leaves the entire bar unconscious. Written by Frank Miller and illustrated with explosive precision by Jim Lee, with inks by Scott Williams and colors by Alex Sinclair, the issue’s cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams captures the chaos in bold, dynamic lines.

"Black Canary" is a bartender in a bar with the same name. After enduring come-ons and one-liners she explodes after one patron feels up her rear end, and knocks out everyone in the whole bar. Her boss catches her robbing the unconscious patrons. She resigns, and then kicks him when he calls her a name she had been enduring all night. She steals a motorcycle and takes off. Batman and Dick are still in Batmobile and it becomes a submarine. Clark Kent sees on a milk carton that Dick is missing, reads in the Daily Planet the details, gets angry, burns the paper, and changes to Superman.
