“Episode Two”

"Episode Two" delivers a pulse-pounding escalation in Frank Miller’s All Star Batman & Robin, the Boy Wonder, with Jim Lee’s dynamic art and Scott Williams’ sharp inks bringing every moment to life. After Batman gasses Dick Grayson and Alfred tends to Vicki, the duo’s chaotic escape in the Batmobile—complete with a sudden rocket launch and a maniacal laugh—sets the tone for a grueling, high-stakes partnership. Cover by Jim Lee and Scott Williams captures the intensity, while the story unfolds with raw energy, pushing Dick toward a path he’s not sure he’s ready for.

Batman gasses Dick Grayson. Alfred patches up Vicki. Batman tosses Dick into the Batmobile, driving off. Dick recovers quickly, and they discuss the situation. Cops start chasing them and surround them, until Batman rockets over and onto them, laughing like a maniac all the while. The Batmobile then engages wings, and rockets off. Dick freaks out, and Batman slaps him, then they discuss more, including Batman wanting to train him to fight crime. Dick finally accepts all this.
