All-New Wolverine #6

Issue #6 brings the "Four Sisters" arc to its startling conclusion, and the cover by Bengal makes the stakes feel immediate: Laura (X-23) charges forward in her yellow-and-blue Wolverine costume, claws extended and costume already bloodied, flanked by three companions — a white-haired woman brandishing a blade, and two dark-haired figures, one wielding a large rifle and one crouched low with a handgun — all surging through a smoke-and-debris-filled corridor. It's a genuinely compelling image of found-family solidarity under fire, rendered with kinetic energy that makes it hard not to flip straight to the first page. Tom Taylor, David López, David Navarrot, and Nathan Fairbairn deliver the payoff to one of Marvel's most quietly compelling 2016 team-ups.
