All-New Wolverine #27

Part three of "Orphans of X" arrives with a cover by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson that pulls no punches: a shirtless, tattoo-marked figure strides forward alongside a blue-costumed Wolverine — Laura Kinney herself — while a crowd of faceless figures bearing X-insignia symbols surrounds them on all sides. The sheer number of those masked, anonymous enemies pressing in from every direction gives the image a genuinely unsettling weight. Tom Taylor, Juann Cabal, and Nolan Woodard keep this arc delivering on its promises, and this installment looks to raise the stakes considerably.
