All-New Hawkeye #2

Part two of "Wunderkammer" arrives with one of the more quietly striking covers of 2015 — a lone frog perched on a lily pad, surrounded by a ring of Hawkeye's blue-and-white arrows planted in the water around it, all bathed in a warm pink-to-purple gradient. The image is serene and a little surreal, perfectly capturing the mood Lemire and Pérez have been cultivating in this run. Ramón Pérez's cover art — clean lines, soft color work complemented by Ian Herring — makes this issue feel like it belongs as much in an art gallery as on a comic rack.
