All-American Men of War #105

Sep 1964 · DC · 0.12 USD
“Killer Horse-- Killer Ship! [Part One]”

In "Killer Horse—Killer Ship! [Part One]," Johnny Cloud confronts a haunting past when a white stallion reappears—both as the mascot of a deadly German plane and a memory from his youth. As his own plane crashes into a field of horses, Cloud must ride a wild white stallion to break a long-held jinx, using nothing but a pistol to bring down an enemy aircraft. Written by Robert Kanigher and illustrated with gritty precision by Irv Novick, this 1964 issue blends wartime tension with a deeply personal legend, all captured in a striking cover by Novick.
