Aliens vs. Predator: Eternal #2

The second chapter of Ian Edginton and Alex Maleev's four-part series arrives with a cover by Glenn Fabry that immediately commands attention: a composed, red-tinted-glasses-wearing figure cradles what appears to be a Predator helmet while an enormous, fangs-bared Xenomorph looms directly behind them, its clawed limbs reaching around on both sides in a deeply unsettling embrace. The image balances cold human calculation against primal alien menace in a way that makes the title Eternal feel genuinely ominous. Dark Horse's 1998 AvP line was doing some of its most atmospheric work, and this cover makes a compelling case for that.
