Aliens: Defiance #3
The third chapter of Brian Wood's Aliens: Defiance arrives with a cover by Massimo Carnevale that commands immediate attention — a xenomorph rendered in unsettling, almost painterly detail dominates the foreground, its biomechanical form curled beneath a vast, looming dark sphere with a distant spacecraft silhouetted against it. Carnevale's muted, earthy tones give the creature an eerie, almost archaeological quality, as if something ancient and dangerous has just been unearthed. With "Mutiny" as the episode title and Riccardo Burchielli and Dan Jackson handling interior art and colors, this 2016 Dark Horse entry looks like a deeply atmospheric chapter in the series.
