Studios' Alice Ever After arrives with a striking Dan Panosian cover that says everything without saying a word — a wide-eyed Alice stares out with tears streaking her cheeks, a top-hatted white rabbit perched hauntingly atop her head, framed by vintage Wonderland character illustrations bordering the golden art nouveau design. Panosian's lush, painterly linework gives Alice an intensity that feels far removed from childhood fairy tale comfort. It's a genuinely arresting close to this 2022 series, and a beautiful showcase of what Panosian brings when he handles pencils, inks, and colors all on his own.
