The ever-weakening Heap and the fisherman he saved have made their way across the vast body of water to Africa, and to the Sphinx. There The Heap enters the Sphinx and makes his way into the first tomb inside where he spies one of the two containers containing the Life Essence. Securing it with a bit of a fight, The Heap enters a second tomb and gets the second container, and proceeds to mix them together. As he drinks the life-saving liquid, a guard's spear shatters the flask and it crashes to the floor. Its vapors rouse the sleeping mummy, who attacks, and then is brought down by the Heap.
