“Flight of the Robots”

In "Flight of the Robots," a mysterious Minstrel travels through a village ruled by the tyrannical Okar, the swineherd whose mere presence strikes dread—except in the Minstrel, who sings without fear. When the Minstrel ventures into the eerie Valley of Idols, he witnesses Okar transform into a monstrous wild boar, unleashing terror… until the Heap arrives to confront the beast. Ernest Schroeder handles both the interior art and the cover, bringing this 1952 tale of courage and the uncanny to life in a 10-cent comic.
