This anthology issue features multiple stories, including one centered on Airboy, who pilots a bird-plane and encounters hairy little men called Ghenish while riding through caves in a dark fortress. The Iron Ace, a bullet-proof hero, is captured by Nazi forces and subjected to torture, but is rescued when a Nazi soldier inexplicably saves him from execution. A separate story depicts toy soldiers that come to life; a boy purchases them as army toys, and when he falls asleep, the Ghenish creatures magically grow to normal size and are discovered by military personnel who recognize them as a threat to American security. The issue also includes appearances by other characters such as the Black Angel and Skywolf.
