Agents of Atlas #5

Tied into Marvel's 2009 Dark Reign event, this issue pits the Agents of Atlas against the New Avengers in a full-scale brawl that Billy Tan renders with real kinetic fury on the cover. Spider-Man, Wolverine, and what appears to be Ms. Marvel and the Black Widow clash head-on with the Atlas crew — including a rampaging gorilla figure — amid a storm of splintering debris. With Parker, Pagulayan, Paz, and Schirmer handling interior duties, "Taking the Fall" promises the kind of superhero collision that makes team-versus-team throwdowns so satisfying.
