Agents of Atlas #5
The penultimate chapter of Marvel's 2007 limited series puts the spotlight squarely on a white-haired, white-clad woman whose raised hands crackle with shimmering energy — a striking, almost meditative image set against a backdrop of scattered skulls that hints at high stakes as the story nears its conclusion. Tomm Coker's painted cover work gives the figure an eerie, otherworldly presence, her star-emblem brooch and piercing gaze conveying both power and cool composure. With Jeff Parker writing and Leonard Kirk on interior art, Agents of Atlas #5 is a compelling stop in one of Marvel's more inventive ensemble adventures of the era.
