Part of Marvel's 2019 "Age of X-Man" event, this second issue puts a green-haired mutant front and center — arms spread wide, levitating amid a cyclone of scattered prison meal trays, spilled food, and swirling green energy while stunned inmates react in shock below her. Patrick Zircher's cover crackles with barely contained power, promising that life inside this mutant penitentiary is anything but under control. With Vita Ayala writing and Germán Peralta on interior art, Prisoner X continues to look like one of the event's most charged corners of the Age of X-Man.
