Age of X-Man: Apocalypse and the X-Tracts #3

Part of Marvel's 2019 Age of X-Man crossover event, this third issue of Apocalypse and the X-Tracts delivers a cover by Gerardo Sandoval that crackles with tension — a metal-skinned, fist-raised giant looms over two composed but clearly wary figures: a grey-skinned powerhouse standing arms-crossed and a determined young woman at his side. The composition does a great job of layering threat and resolve into a single striking image, hinting at the volatile dynamics within Apocalypse's unconventional team. With Tim Seeley writing and Salva Espín on interior art with colors by Israel Silva, this series continues to carve out one of the more intriguing corners of the Age of X-Man.
