Adventures of Superman #15

Superman strides forward with quiet determination on Evan "Doc" Shaner's cover for this September 2014 installment, his cape swept back as a crowd of ordinary Metropolis citizens — police officers, reporters, and bystanders — press in around him with expressions ranging from awe to unease. There's something refreshingly human about the composition: the Man of Steel surrounded not by super-villains but by the everyday people he exists to protect.
