“Media Darlings”

In "Media Darlings," Storm finds herself caught in a bizarre twist of fame when she films an episode of her own TV show for the eccentric Mojo—only for the shoot to be interrupted by a strange script salesman named Vroot. With the X-Men arriving via the Vanisher and Longshot’s help, the team races to free Storm from Mojo’s grasp, uncovering a hidden tower meant to launch an invasion. The issue blends high-stakes action with a touch of satire, all drawn by Yancey Labat and inked by Ralph Cabrera, with a cover by Labat and Saviuk.

Storm shoots an episode of her TV series for Mojo that she agreed to act in. The filming is interrupted by a person named Vroot trying to sell Mojo a script for a show. The filming is then stopped for the day and Storm is taken back to her hotel. The X-Men then arrive, transported by the Vanisher. With Longshot’s help, they find Storm and free her. They then go to a tower built to allow Mojo to take over the earth and, with the help of Vroot, who works with Longshot on overthrowing Mojo, they destroy it. Mojo tears up Storm's contract when The Vanisher agrees to stay in her place.
