# Adventures into the Unknown #70 This issue contains multiple stories. "The Forgotten Ocean" follows Roger Jones, described as the only living human in the Sargasso Sea, who discovers a woman and learns of an ancient shipwreck containing a king's ransom in gold hidden there. When he attempts to retrieve the treasure with the woman's help, a motor yacht appears and she disappears into the seaweed, leaving him trapped. A second story depicts soldiers under attack by Nazis during World War II who discover caves along a riverbank; when they investigate further, the soldiers vanish without a trace, suggesting something supernatural is at play. A third narrative follows a man named Mike who ventures north into extreme Arctic conditions, battling blizzards and wolves, ultimately collapsing in the snow before being rescued by mysterious figures who claim to be his friends.

World-famous photographer Mike Conlan ventures into Alaska's frozen north to document Eskimo life, but curiosity about a local legend—a hidden city where no man has ever returned—drives him to explore beyond the expedition's original mission. Alone and injured in the barren wastes, Mike discovers an impossibly advanced civilization sheltered beneath a massive glass dome, powered by solar technology and thriving in peace for thousands of years.
