Adventure Time #38

The "Capsule" variant cover for Adventure Time #38 is a delightful piece of work from cover artist George Bletsis, framed as a Japanese capsule-toy vending machine packed with translucent bubbles — each one containing a beloved Land of Ooo resident. Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Ice King, Flame Princess, BMO, Lumpy Space Princess, Gunter, and a host of candy people and other colorful characters are all tucked into their own little spheres, waiting to be claimed. It's a wonderfully inventive way to showcase the sheer breadth of the Adventure Time cast, and a fitting 2015 celebration of BOOM! Studios' tenth anniversary, as noted right on the machine's coin slot.
