Issue #18 of DC's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons brings the Kyrani storyline — "The Ostus Legacy" — to its conclusion, with Dan Mishkin writing and Jan Duursema handling both pencils and inks on an atmospheric cover that sets the stakes perfectly. A small group of adventurers, one wielding a glowing orb of light, makes their way through a shadowy cavern while an enormous, looming creature fills the darkness above and around them, its sheer scale dwarfing the heroes below.
