“Secret Separation”

In "Secret Separation," the aftermath of Bruce's mysterious death sends his brothers—Chuck, Clint, and Jackie—adrift in a fractured world. With the undersea complex collapsing and forces beyond their control pulling them apart, each brother faces a new, uncertain fate. Written by Don Chin and brought to life with bold, expressive art by Sam Kieth—whose dynamic cover pencils and inks capture the story's escalating tension—this pivotal issue marks a turning point in the series.

Bruce's body is found by his brothers, who fail to revive him. When they leave to mourn, the medical lab is cut off and a hulking figure works feverishly over Bruce's body. Castro leaves and an alarm sounds, forcing Chuck, Clint and Jackie to evacuate without their brother's body. The undersea complex explodes and the brothers are separated. Jackie is marooned on an island. Chuck is picked up by a Russian ship. Clint is picked up by a mafia crime lord.
