Battle Planet!" blazes across the bottom of this penultimate issue of Andy Diggle and Pascal Ferry's eight-part series, and Pascal Ferry's cover art delivers on that promise — a massive, armored alien figure in a red-and-white star-emblazoned suit comes hurtling straight at the viewer through a storm of energy blasts, starships streaking across the background. With issue seven of eight now in hand, the tension of "Planet Heist" is clearly reaching a fever pitch, and the sheer scale of that suited figure filling the frame makes it easy to see why this series earned so much attention in 2005.
