Part of DC's 2009 "World Without Superman" event, this chapter of "The Sleepers Part 2" features a striking Andrew Robinson cover: a blue-haired, glowing-eyed woman in a long coat stands coolly above a pile of burning rubble — fragments of what appears to be a colorful costume smoldering in the flames below her. Greg Rucka scripts the interior alongside artists Eddy Barrows and Sidney Teles, promising the kind of taut, grounded superhero storytelling Rucka does so well. The mood Robinson sets — ominous, deliberate, and a little unsettling — makes this one of the more compelling cover images in the run.
