Action Comics #855
In "Escape from Bizarro World Chapter 1," Superman is drawn into a twisted mirror of his own world when Bizarro, calling Jonathan Kent "father" and referencing a blue sun, abducts the elder Kent. Guided by a hologram of Jor-El, Superman journeys to a strange cubic planet, lands, and enters a Bizarro Daily Planet—only to be attacked and bested by a Bizarro version of himself. The issue, written by Geoff Johns and Richard Donner and illustrated by Eric Powell with colors by Dave Stewart, features a cover by Powell, and marks a surreal, high-stakes escalation in a world where everything is backwards—except the danger.
