“Fairyland Isle!”

Action Comics #81 from February 1945 presents one of the more whimsical Superman covers of the era, with the Man of Steel soaring high above a city skyline alongside a robed Father Time and a winged baby New Year — the old year stepping aside with a speech bubble declaring it's time to "see what the little chap can do!" Wayne Boring's pencils and Stan Kaye's inks give the scene a lively, celebratory energy that perfectly captures the transition into a new year. Inside, Joe Samachson and Mort Meskin bring "Fairyland Isle!" to life, making this a genuinely fun slice of Golden Age Superman storytelling.

Stuff is learning magic tricks. Greg takes him to the Hall of the Future, to see future 'magic' tricks such as photoelectric cells and prefabricated houses. When Mingo and his men try to steal artifacts, Vigilante and Stuff pursue them, and are captured. Stuff distracts the goon guarding them with magic tricks while Vigilante escapes his bonds.
