“The Suicide Snare”

Just as things reach a breaking point, Mister Miracle arrives to intervene, disrupting the plan before it can fully unfold. Written and illustrated by John Byrne, with inks by Keith Williams and lettering by Costanza, this 1987 Action Comics issue features a cover by Byrne that captures the surreal tension of the moment.
