In "Rebirth!", Superman's accidental aid sets Brainiac free, leading the villain on a journey across the cosmos that transforms him into something beyond his old self. Now reborn, Brainiac draws Superman to Systus 2, where he strips the hero of his powers and reveals his new form—just as their fates collide once more.
