In "Enter -- the Omega Men!", Superman returns to the present only to find himself stripped of his powers, including invulnerability and heat vision. With the Daily Planet crumbling under attack by the Mole, he's forced to rely on a group of alien warriors—newcomers to Earth—whose arrival brings both hope and mystery. As the Omega Men join the fight to save the city, Superman is gravely wounded, only to be captured by the Mole, setting the stage for a tense and uncertain turn. Written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by Joe Staton, with inks by Pablo Marcos, colors by Gene D'Angelo, and letters by Todd Klein, the issue features a striking cover by Gil Kane and Frank Giacoia.
