“The Creature That Charmed Children!”

In "The Creature That Charmed Children!", Superman faces a mysterious, child-protecting giant named Jorlan—stronger than he is and seemingly gifted with an uncanny ability to win over kids. As the Man of Steel investigates this enigma, a chilling message from Orn-Zu in the Phantom Zone claims Jorlan is a dangerous creation meant to threaten every child on Earth. Written by Cary Bates and illustrated by Curt Swan with inks by Frank Chiaramonte, colors by Adrienne Roy, and letters by Ben Oda, this 1980 classic features a cover by Ross Andru and Dick Giordano.
