“Lois Lane -- Wanted!”

In "Lois Lane -- Wanted!", a mysterious man named Matti Halliburton wakes up after an explosion with no memory—only a discarded Vigilante costume and a desperate need to uncover the truth. With the help of a disguised Greg and his partner Stuff, Halliburton takes up the mantle of the Vigilante, chasing down the criminals behind the attack, all while his true identity remains a mystery. Howard Sherman’s art brings the suspense to life, while Wayne Boring and Stan Kaye’s cover captures the high-stakes drama of a man caught between two lives.

Vigilante is protecting murder witness Matti Halliburton when they are waylaid by crooks. Halliburton wakes up from the explosion alone, unaware of his identity, but finds the Vigilante costume Greg has discarded in a dash to reach the television studio in time to begin his broadcast. Making the assumption that he is Vigilante, he pursues the crooks responsible for the attack. Greg puts on an old vaudevillian suit and false handlebar moustache, and he and Stuff follow Halliburton. They capture the gang and Halliburton later regains his memory, but doesn't recall his exploits as 'Vigilante'.
