In "Lois Lane... Witch!", Lois Lane stumbles upon a mysterious jeweled ornament while doing Clark Kent a favor—laundry duty—only to find herself caught in a series of strange coincidences that make her believe she’s cursed. Thinking she’s developed a supernatural knack for causing trouble, she takes it upon herself to go after criminals who’ve slipped through the law, aided secretly by Superman. The ornament, it turns out, was no ordinary trinket—it was placed in baby Kal-El’s rocket by his father, Jor-el, as a defense mechanism against meteors, capable of weakening iron. Art by Al Plastino, with cover by Win Mortimer.
