Vigilante and Stuff are riding through the countryside when they see a man shoot a sheriff. Apprehending him, they discover the proceeds of a bank robbery, one of many such recently. The manager of the bank asks Vigilante to give protection to their various branches, but despite his advice and suggestions, the robberies continue.
