“Superman, Show-Off!”

In "Superman, Show-Off!", young astronaut Tommy faces a crisis when he’s dishonorably discharged from the Planeteers after his ship vanishes without explanation. Joining reporter Lon Brett on a quest to document the seven wonders of space, the duo’s journey takes a surprising turn when Brett suggests describing the seventh wonder as an invisible planet—offering Tommy the clue he needs to clear his name. Written by Otto Binder and illustrated by Curt Swan with inks by John Fischetti, this 1949 adventure features a clever twist on space exploration, all capped by a striking cover by Al Plastino.
