The third volume of this French science-fiction series from Delcourt, subtitled Des Millions de Soleils, arrives with a striking vignette at the top of its clean white cover: a lightly-armored figure mid-leap squares off against a heavily mechanized, black-and-white armored opponent amid flying debris and an explosive burst of flame. Sylvain Cordurié's script, Stéphane Créty's art, and Sandrine Cordurié's colors combine to give the Néopolis universe its sharp, kinetic energy. If this 2007 album is your entry point into Acriboréa, that charged confrontation on the cover promises plenty of tension within.
