Acriboréa #2
The second volume of Acriboréa, subtitled "Les Ruines de l'Aréopage," arrives from Delcourt in 2006 with a cover by Stéphane Créty that immediately signals grand science-fiction ambitions — two armored figures stand atop a rocky cliff's edge while a fleet of military aircraft sweeps through a vast space backdrop dominated by a looming planet. Sylvain Cordurié and Sandrine Cordurié's collaboration with Créty continues to build a universe that feels both grounded and genuinely epic in scope. If this cover is any measure, the series is hitting its stride with impressive visual confidence.
