Written by Geoff Johns with art by various creators, this hardcover edition compiles the entire five-issue series along with related material from the era.
In "Justice Chapter Two," Brainiac escalates his assault on Aquaman while the JLA scrambles to find him, racing against time as Batman intercepts the Riddler’s theft of sensitive JLA data. Meanwhile, the rest of the League presses on with their search, even as other villains—unusually—carry out acts of unexpected kindness across the globe.
In "Justice Chapter Three," Brainiac subjects Aquaman to relentless torment as the Martian Manhunter races against time to uncover his whereabouts. When J'onn is ambushed by Gorilla Grodd, the villain seizes control of the JLA satellite, destroys Red Tornado, and exposes the secret identities of the League—just as a wave of villainous "good deeds" begins to confuse the public.
In "Justice Chapter Four," Lex Luthor, Poison Ivy, Captain Manta, and the Riddler launch a public campaign to discredit the Justice League, claiming they’ve failed the people while boasting of their own supposed benevolence. As the League’s members are systematically attacked and taken down, Superman finds himself facing a brutal showdown against a rogue coalition of foes—Bizarro, Solomon Grundy, Parasite, and Metallo—testing the limits of his strength and resolve.
In "Justice Chapter Five," Superman faces a terrifying threat as he battles Bizarro and Metallo, only to discover that some of his fellow JLA members may have been compromised by invisible, worm-like invaders. With trust in question and the line between ally and enemy blurring, the fight for justice takes a dangerous turn.
In "Justice Chapter Seven," Hawkman and Hawkgirl narrowly escape Toyman’s deadly trap, while Flash and Aquaman are pulled from danger by unexpected allies. As the remaining heroes begin converging on the Fortress of Solitude, tensions rise and alliances are tested in the shadow of an unfolding threat.
In "Justice Chapter Eight," Green Lantern is pulled from the brink of defeat, and the remnants of the superhero alliance converge at Superman's Fortress. With tensions high, Batman presses Captain Cold for answers, uncovering a threat that forces the team to confront a hidden enemy beneath the surface.
In "Justice Chapter Nine," Grodd launches a devastating assault on the JLA, exploiting the team's vulnerabilities with ruthless precision. As Captain Marvel is drawn into the villains' scheme, a clash between Superman and the hero-turned-foe sets the stage for a desperate stand—where even the mightiest allies must don their armor and face the storm head-on.
In "Justice Chapter Ten," Green Arrow, Black Canary, and the Elongated Man race against time to track down a single individual whose actions could shift the balance of the battle. As the League confronts the main threat with the aid of the Metal Men and the Doom Patrol pursues the sidekicks, this trio ventures into uncharted territory, chasing a lead that might just change everything.
In "Justice Chapter Eleven," the heroes triumph in the main battle through clever deception, but their victory is incomplete—Brainiac vanishes with Arthur Jr. as Green Lantern clashes with Sinestro. Pursuing the villain to the rogues' paradise, the team must now face a new threat: Scarecrow unleashing the formerly disabled against them.
In "Justice Chapter Twelve," Superman races to stop Brainiac from unleashing humanity's entire missile arsenal, while Batman forces a reluctant Luthor to team up with Grodd through the Martian Manhunter’s guidance. As Zatanna and Red Tornado track Brainiac’s shifting host bodies, the rest of the heroes contain chaos in Scarecrow’s city and hunt down the remaining villains—culminating in a desperate effort to redirect the missiles into the sun, with help from Sinestro’s ring and the Green Lantern Corps, trapping Brainiac in his own ship.
