Absolute Batman #2

Part two of Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta's five-part "The Zoo" arc finds Batman looming over a bearded, heavily armed man who clutches both a pistol and a combat knife — a tense standoff rendered in Dragotta's sharp linework against a bold yellow bat-symbol backdrop. This reimagined Dark Knight cuts an imposing figure with his clawed gauntlets and utilitarian gear, suggesting a Batman built more for raw confrontation than shadow and stealth. Frank Martin's high-contrast coloring gives the whole scene a gritty, street-level urgency that makes issue #2 a compelling entry in DC's 2025 "All In" initiative.
