When their detective agency is on the verge of closure, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello catch a break—a mysterious visitor hires them to recover a stolen sacred jade idol from a Chinatown temple, offering fifty dollars an hour. With just sixty minutes to track down the artifact before facing a grim fate, the bumbling pair navigate traps, mistaken identities, and double-crosses in a wild hunt through the underworld. Their faithful partner K-9 may be the key to survival—if the detectives can stay alive long enough to solve the case.
