Steve Niles and Szymon Kudranski's horror series delivers a genuinely unsettling image for issue four: a massive, roaring demonic face fills the blood-red sky above a lone church steeple, its cross silhouetted against the infernal glow while dead trees and scattered gravestones frame the scene below. Kudranski's painted cover work bathes everything in deep crimsons and smoldering oranges, making the creature feel less like a monster lurking in the dark and more like something that is the dark.
