The title alone sets the tone perfectly — when Lucky Luke's world collides with the most volatile explosive of the Old West, trouble is never far behind. The cover by Morris says it all: four identical, scowling outlaws in matching blue shirts and grey hats pump furiously along a railway handcar through a sun-baked desert landscape, one of them brandishing a smoking pistol, while vultures circle ominously overhead and Lucky Luke himself peers warily from the corner. This 2015 Cinebook release brings Morris and Lo Hartog van Banda's sharp Western comedy to English-reading audiences, and that gloriously chaotic cover image promises the series is very much firing on all cylinders.
